MySQL extension is depreciated

I have entered the MySQL information for my form in order to have the submissions uploaded to my server. However, the form now says:

Deprecated: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: The mysql extension is deprecated and will be removed in the future: use mysqli or PDO instead in **** on line 289
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘table SET fulde_navn = ‘***’,email = ‘***’,nummer = ‘***’ at line 1

How can I fix that?
