Add Excerpt to Post

Hi – I’m using Quform to create posts in my site and it works great!

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to add an excerpt to my posts. Ideally I’d like the description to be duplicated as the excerpt – is this possible?

I had actually tried that, and it does bring in an excerpt, but it’s bringing in all the other form info as well.

I am using the form-post.php option that’s in your documentation to bring in the date and some other info into my posts, and would like my excerpt to just be from the description field (iphorm_1_4).

Is this doable?
