Hi Guys
If you are using a form and you have Flash file uploader as one of the fields (Single file upload not multi) , and it is a required field, then,
If you have completed the form and added a file and the file uploads, but the form errors out, the file is sat with a tick on it and you cannot re submit the form to try again as it says you must select a file.
if you try to select the file again, it says you are attempting to upload more than the allowed limit (which is 1 file) and you cannot remove the existing file.
The only way around it is to refresh the page which clears the file and then add it again.
Thats ok for us as we figured that out instantly but to a lamen filling in a form they would not know.
Can we get a fix so that if a form errors (After uploading files) and does not submit, that the files then get either removed ro are made deletable.
Image capture shows an error has occured and the form stops
Image capture1 shows some of the image fields (that were uploaded before the error) Notice the tick to confirm uploaded and the error when you resubmit ( This field is required)
Image capture2 shows the error that happens if you try to upload the image again (note the original cannot be removed due to the tick)
Thanks

I have quite a bit of custom code for the forms 🙂I do use WP_Session Manager to create wp_sessions for separate item names though
