Button that lets users add another field

I was wondering if it’s possible to add a “add another field” button to a form.

So a user can add a field to the form themselves.

Example: for a list:

field: item 1
field: item 2
button: add another item (adds another field for item 3)

Oh and would it be possible to add a “Select menu with search” instead of a plain field?
