Can't Get Regex To work

Have 1.4.6 and any regex condition I put it shows the value as invalid. I’ve tested the expressions elsewhere and they are fine and work properly, but not in the quform validators.

Any suggestions?

BTW, I noticed that in previous versions regex was not working, but was fixed after 1.4
