Check box restrcitions

Hello,
Im building a form that requires submitters to check 3 out of 6 boxes (checkbox). I cant figure out how to restrict them to checking 3 (no more, no less) boxes. I dont want them to be able to check 2 nor can they check 4.
How do I do this?
