Confirm email field – ajax error

Hi,

I tried to to add an email confirmation field so that the form user must enter their email address twice and they must match, following the guide published by TC on december 8th, 2017.

The proposed code was added to functions.php of Enfold Child Theme, newest version.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. No message is being submitted, instead “ajax error” shown.

Any advice?

thanks for your answer. The server is running PHP 7.2
