Default text in field / textarea?

Hi there,

It is possible to put default text in a field as a “hint”? So that the field is pre-filled with data, but then the user can still enter their own answer?

Here’s an example of what I mean – right down the bottom of this page. http://www.melbourneinvestigations.com.au/
