Disable submit button

how can I disable the submit button after the user has pressed it once? (to avoid duplicated submissions)

And how it works?
Because my users are submitting it more than once… (btw, Im not receiving duplicated emails since my form doesn’t send emails)
My form takes 10 to 12s to respond (because of my own requirements) and users think it didn’t work at the first time..
My form use ajax submission.
