Hidden date / time stamp shows GMT rather than server time

I’m wondering if it’s possible to have the variable {current_time|g:i A} show my server’s time, rather than GMT? Using the WP plugin — tried the answer for the QuForm php time stamp to show current time, but that just put “array” into the time stamp, rather than actually giving me a time.
