Hidden element value assigned depending a

Hello,

How can I assign a value to a hidden field depending on a value already selected from a multiple check box menu

for example:

Option 1 = a
Option 2 = b
Option 3 = c

if the user selected “Option 1” then that hidden filed value will be “Hello World 1”
if the user selected “Option 2” then that hidden filed value will be “Hello World 2”
if the user selected “Option 3” then that hidden filed value will be “Hello World 3”
