How do I make the Intro transparent?

When setting the intro style to transparent (not transparent with black bar), and then creating a page and setting that to default or even to transparent intro style, the title of the page still has a black bar that goes across it. How do I remove the black bar under the text for the intro? I’m running 1.2.3.

Here’s the example page I’m referring to, but they all react the same way on my site.
