Make "Email" field not editable

Normally Email field user will type their email address, I already automatically preloaded WordPress’s user email to this field, so user don’t need to type.

What I want to do is to make this field not editable? is it possible? That means user can see the email in the field but cannot edit it.

I tried but it doesn’t work. The email field still editable.
