MIN-MAX Limits on Multi select and Checkbox lists

I have only recently purchased and could not find any mention of this but I am hoping there is a way I can set a Minimum or Maximum to the number of selections a user makes in a checkbox list or multi-select. I have for example a multi select where a user can select up to 3 categories from a list of 15 available.Is this option available somewhere I haven’t found?

Yep thanks I found that article and it works well for checkboxes is there a similar implementation to limit a multi-select? Hopefully this can be posted.
