Multiple Fields With The Same Name

As part of my form, I would like the user to be able to click a button to add more rows, for a list of names for example, this is fine and I can do this with jquery.

However, on the PHP side is it OK to have multiple fields with the same name?

For example:

Row 1 – Manufacturer 1
Row 2 – Manufacturer 2
Row 3 – Manufacturer 3
