Multiple form fields and setting don't change when edit and save

I hav just upgraded to the latest 1.7.8 and now some of my forms behave weird

Problems:
Edit hidden field value doesn’t change. I save the form, go back into it and the old value is still in there not the new one.

In settings, email – whatever i change there, email address, autoreply html email etc, after saving it reverts back to old values. i can’t change anything.
