"Name" field type…how to grab just the first name in notifications?

In my form, i’m grabbing first and last name in separate boxes.

When it comes to setting up the notification to the visitor, how do I just insert what they entered in the FIRST name box?

I’m guessing not if you’re using the latest version and still have to ask. Might be worth just using two text boxes instead 🙁
