Opening the whole site instead of a form when clicking the quform popup link

I have a strange problem which I cannot narrow to a problem with another plugin. I have two buttons which open a quform form in a modal popup. No problems there but somehow when I close the pop-up and click the button again, the form is not opened but the whole site is opened in the modal pop-up.
