Popup – how to trigger with a button

Hi, sorry, this may be a silly question but I cannot find any information on how to trigger a qform popup with a standard button ?? I’m using the shortcode [quform_popup id=”xx” … in a page which is called from a button but nothing happens… lightbox 2 is activated in the settings. What goes into the “Content” field ?

what is the exact procedure to create a popup which is triggered by a button ?
