Preselect select / checkbox / radio button

Hey. Is it possible to preselect certain options in a form?

Example: if our form is on contact.html and the user comes from page1, value1 is preselected in selectField1. If the user comes from page2, value2 is preselected in selectField1. I hope I explained it well enough :/
