Problem with gallery

Hi,
i’ìm having problem with gallery creation.

after upload images, i put this shortcode in text area
[portfolio type="serene" categories="category id" max="-1" show_read_more="0"]

but i can’t create a working gallery

i don’t know what is “category id”
