ParticipantHello,
In Forms > Settings > Notification > Admin > “From Address” we have the field set to {element|id:7|Email Address (1_7)} (customer email address). Normally, when the email arrives, it will have the customer email address.
For some reason, instead of using the correct “from” customer email address, QuForm is sending from the servers default host email address instead.
To, Reply works no problem. The issue is only with the “from” email address.
Desired Result:
To: support@mydomain.com
From: customer email (element ID)Actual Result:
To: support@mydomain.com
From: contact@host.mydomain.com (server default address)- This topic was modified 7 years, 1 month ago by

ParticipantHi,
Thanks for your reply. Installing an SMTP plugin still result in the same. The email will send “from” the SMTP defined email rather than client input.
We can set the Reply-To address no problem, but we want the email header to show the email arrived from the client input.
Is there a way to correct this through PHP?
Thanks

ParticipantHello,
We have resolved the issue. For future users:
WHM > Exim Manager > EXPERIMENTAL: Rewrite From: header to match actual sender (Make sure this is set to disabled)
