This is a fix needed for future release.
Pre-loading radio or checkbox fields via the bulk options function is problematic when custom values are used.
eg:
Unknown|Not stated Search - Google|Search Engine - Google ...If the options data has custom values it imports them and shows them in the element settings correctly.
But on returning to the field later (after save) you find all custom values have gone, and have been replaced with label text (ie are no longer customised).
The [add options] button for the “Add bulk options” dialog needs a logic tweak to enable the “Customise values?” slider if the data imported features the pipe ‘|’ symbol.

If you manually enable the “Customise values’ slider after import (and before exiting the element settings) your options stay as imported. But this is a step you don’t expect given the options are showing what you want on save.
