referring_url is empty after missing fields on form

Hello.

If I reach a form the first time, if I examine the source html, I properly see the referring_url set…
<input type=”hidden” name=”referring_url” value=”http://myurl&#8221; />.
The form properly had a hidden element referring to the reffering_url variable.

However, if I then submit the form leaving out some required fields, the form is reloaded marking up the missing fields, but the referring_url is now empty.

Can someone help? This is causing us to get forms submitted with an empty referring_url.
