Required file upload, form does not send with file attached

Hello interwebs,

My form, available at the link below:

With file upload set to “required”, the form will not send even when I have uploaded a file. It keeps telling me that the file upload field is required to send the form, acting as if i did not have a file uploaded.

I have the maximum file size set to 8 MB. I lowered it to 2 MB as a test but that didn’t work either.

The form will send (with the attachment) if the file upload is not a required field.

Unchecking the enable flash uploader worked! Do you know why?
