ParticipantHello, I have a few questions regarding the “required” text:
1. How can I change the font size of the required text?
2. How can I change the size of the required box?
3. How can I reposition the required box?
4. How can I have the required box not “move” the rest of the form when it appears? For example, right now if it appears it moves all of the fields underneath it lower.
Thanks so much!

ParticipantThank you for your response. Two follow up questions if you don’t mind:
1. How can I add the changes above to validator boxes as well?
2. Is it possible to have the required box disappear after you start typing in the field?
3. How can I have the required box not be “confined” inside the pop-up, and have it be displayed outside of the pop-up window (at least partially)? For example, if you have a help icon/tooltip enabled for a field, and you click on the icon the message that is displayed will not be confined to only inside the pop-up, but some of it will appear inside the pop-up and some of it will appear outside of it (depending on the icon’s position and how long the message is). I ask because right now I have form’s fields set perfectly position and size wise, and indeed changing the required box to absolute positioning worked perfectly, but there needs to be some space to display the required box too, and if it could break out of the pop-up that would give it all the space it needs.
Thanks!

ParticipantI’d be happy to, the link is https://lifebyjohn.com/formtesting
When I refer to the “required box”, I am referring to the box that pops up when you don’t fill in an empty field, or you don’t make a choice in a dropdown box when it’s required to do so.
When I refer to “validator box”, I am referring to the box that pops up when you don’t fill in a field correctly per the validator that is set (for example, you don’t enter 7 characters when the minimum is 7).
Thanks so much!

ParticipantHi there,
Unfortunately that code did not work, so I’ll go ahead and post my questions again below:
1. Is it possible to have the required (error) box disappear after you start typing in the field?
2. How can I have the required (error) box not be “confined” inside the pop-up, and have it be displayed outside of the pop-up window (at least partially)? For example, if you have a help icon/tooltip enabled for a field, and you click on the icon the message that is displayed will not be confined to only inside the pop-up, but some of it will appear inside the pop-up and some of it will appear outside of it (depending on the icon’s position and how long the message is). I ask because right now I have form’s fields set perfectly position and size wise, and indeed changing the required box to absolute positioning worked perfectly, but there needs to be some space to display the required box too, and if it could break out of the pop-up that would give it all the space it needs.
Thanks!

ParticipantI believe that worked! Two questions below:
1. The text inside the required (error) box appears to be vertically aligned. How can I change it so that all of the text appears on one line only? Right now it appears as three lines, for example:
This
field is
requiredI would like it to appear all on one line, like:
This field is required
Can you let me know what CSS to use for that?
2. Is it possible to have the required (error) box disappear after you start typing in the field?
Thanks so much!
