Simple question (hopefully)

I purchased this package yesterday and I am still going through documentation. I have limited knowledge of code…enough to get me in trouble. Can you tell me if Quform strips special characters out of form submissions to prevent code injections? Is this something I have to add to the process.php file (or another file) myself?
