Site fails to load quite often after shifting files in the server

Hi guys, i first had the site setup on staging (domain/staging), but when i went live with the site, i moved the files using ftp to the primary domain. Ever since, the site has been running very slow and crashes a lot. Is there any way to resolve this issue?
