Success message not appearing

I am integrating your contact form into a modal window on my test site. It works okay but the success message does not appear. Please have a look for me – it is at jamesgarnish.net – go to ‘contact us’ and choose ‘send a quick message’.

i.e. Putting it inside of the form worked.
