Trouble with submissions coming to AOL email

Hello. I cannot figure out how to get my submissions to go to AOL emails (unfortunately my client insists on using AOL emails).

I tried to use the SMTP option but broke everything completely. Emails would not even come in to gmail emails with STMP. And I tested and my SMTP test came up “true” with the SMTP plugin.

I also tried to make the “from” email an email associated with the domain. I also checked SPAM and nothing in there.

Can you tell me how I may troubleshoot this to get submissions to come to AOL emails. I am very desperate at this point.
