Verified license won't "stick"

I have had QuForm installed for years. Just tried to update a form and see a license is required now. So I bought one. I enter my purchase code on Quform > Settings and it gets verified successfully (green check mark shows up)

Here is my issue… I can’t get my license key to “stick” as verified. when I attempt to edit an existing form, Quform says that I have an unlicensed product. HELP!
