You haven’t entered a recipient email address in the form process file

Hi,

Just purchased the form and installed it as instructed in the documentation. Basic setup. When I submit, I get this error:

There was a problem

Deprecated: Function get_magic_quotes_gpc() is deprecated in /quform/common.php on line 39
You haven’t entered a recipient email address in the form process file.

/quform/process.php

The PHP on my server is 7.4.6

I guess get_magic_quotes_gpc() should be replaced by something more suitable to PHP 7.x.

But the error about no recipient address is misleading as I did enter it, 100%.

In addition, as I use Bootstrap 4 for this website, and I already have JQuery 3.5.1, is the one included (1.8.3) still needed?

My PHP log shows the deprecated related entry only, no errors.

Your help is appreciated.

Not the first time I find the problem right after I submitted the question. The main error is gone now (I edited the process.php in my custom location, then copied original files to the server, no wonder recipient was empty).

Some other questions stay, but I’ll wait until I fine tune it, so I come back only once. 🙂
