ParticipantHello Ally – sorry for this taking such a long time. Busy days.
It would seem that the responsive update means that the way the theme looks on a smartphone is “worse” than it was before the update, at least for me as a user, and I am sorry it looks like that. Going back to the old version will be even worse, since all of the text on the front page will be so small, as in not readable.
Thank you for trying to help.

ParticipantThank you Ally
I would like the same view on the phone as on pads and computer. When I look at the website, holding the phone vertically, does not show the menu, but a Go to …. box. When holding it horisontally, it is the correct view, i.e. the menu items. That is how it used to look, for years and years.
Good wishes,

ParticipantThank you Ally.
All going as it should, until, while updating, it said: The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. I chose “All files and documentation” from the Download button.
Then I chose Installable WordPress file only. It did install, but does not look as it should on iPhone. (A different “bad”.) Ok in iPad and Mac.
PS, looks ok in horizontal position on the phone.gudrun
