ParticipantHello
Related to my other post here : https://support.themecatcher.net/forums/topic/change-delimiter-in-export/#post-7247
It seems that
are not correctly translated to nothing in text, textarea, password and hidden fields.
When I import (UTF8, comma separator, ” as text delimiter),
are translated as return. See attached files in my other post as well.
Again, I can live without this but just wanted to advise you of this bug.

ParticipantHello
It seems the text identifier option does not work. I tried it again today but it still consider the comma in textfield as column separator 🙁
I double checked that the text delimiter was , and that the text identificator was ”
If I change comme to semicolons as you advised, it works, at least if the text doesn’t contain semicolon I think because I didn’t tried 🙂
See attached pictures how it looks in db (Opened in Notepad++) and then imported, maybe it will help you.
BTW, this issue might be related also to this topic : https://support.themecatcher.net/forums/topic/export-file-is-messed-up
I am able to export data with your tricks, but I just wanted to advise if you want to correct this issue.

ParticipantHello
I have another question about export file. For multiple choice for exemple, when exported it creates a line break after each entries.
Then, when exporting to csv, it also create these line breaks. That mess the final import in excel.
Any idea how to change this to remove line breaks and replace them by + or any other sign ?
Thank you very much !
karsayor
ParticipantThat did the trick 🙂
Thanks !

ParticipantHello
Ok in that case it works fine, except the ‘ which is not correctly translated.
The “Rue” field is a Single Line Text

ParticipantHello
Additionnaly to this, when exporting to csv with special french letters like
é,à,è,',...
then it writes some stranges strings like'é
in the CSV file.In the display entries table, it shows normally 🙂
Thanks for your job guys !

ParticipantHello
It would be nice if we could export data to csv in the same order than the one we choosed in the display entries table.
Thanks 🙂

ParticipantHello
Additionnaly, in european version of Excel, the CSV separator is ; and not ,
Not a big deal to change it by using search & replace, but it would be useful to be able to change the separator.
Thanks guys !
Philippe
