Hi Ally… I’ve always updated WordPress with no problems but the latest version keeps getting the same “fail” message.

“The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.: wp-admin/setup-config.php

Installation Failed”

No idea what this means and haven’t been able to browse to that “wp-admin/setup-config.php” page or find it at all. Is there any chance this is something with the theme? Any ideas?

Hello.. I’m having trouble with the opening slideshow once again. I am trying to upload new images to my “frontslide” file under APPEARANCE > THEME OPTIONS > BACKGROUNDS > BACKGROUND IMAGE GROUPS > “Frontslide”

When I click the “edit group” tab, all my already uploaded files appear.. and when I press “upload” and browse to a new small jpg to upload I get an error message. Attaching error message screenshot below…

Hi, yes thank you. I always did that in the past. The Edit button is not there. So I made it private for now. So, next to Status it says “Privately published” and there is no edit option/button. I’ve even clicked on the blank area where it belongs but nothing pops up.

There IS however an Edit button next to “visibility” which of course doesn’t change the above option.

Very odd that it’s not there as I always remember it being there.

Any ideas?

Hi Ally, I’ve written to info@themecatcher.net but haven’t heard back as yet. I did the WP update hoping that would make things work. Unfortunately I’m still unable to add any more files to :

Appearance -> Theme Options -> Backgrounds -> Background Image Groups… I have a group called “FrontSlide” that I use for my opening. There are 45 files in there and I’ve tried to load more but I keep getting an error message which says:
“An error occurred uploading the file. You may find more information in the browser console.”

I believe I’ve got the video running now. New problem is at Appearance -> Theme Options -> Backgrounds -> Background Image Groups… I have a group called “FrontSlideTemp” that I use for my opening. There are 45 files in there and I’ve tried to load more but I keep getting an error message which says:
“An error occurred uploading the file. You may find more information in the browser console.”

Is there a maximum amount of files that can go in an image group or something else keeping me from uploading anything else to that group..

Hi, new wrinkle. When going to any gallery page and seeing the mosaic view.. when I click on one of those pictures to open it full screen in the carousel.. it does a strange blink open, then close, then open again.

Also, in carousel mode some pictures show a comments box below, some do not. I’ve never figured out a way to remove all that empty content from the bottom of some of the pictures (ie comments section, etc).

I couldn’t find a place to change the address, so I totally deleted it then re-uploaded another version. It’s super big now at the bottom.. I don’t really mind it large I guess. I suppose if I add another image it will all resize itself back into the mosaic. Thx, I can live with it the way it’s working now. -Thx

Hi, sorry for not being clear. The last image all the way at the bottom is clipped on the right side. If you click on it you will see the full width of the image (tho smaller), but in the mosaic gallery page it has it’s right side clipped off for some reason.

Hi, thx.. I’m using Firefox..
I just went back and now they’re all working for me. I thought it might be something from the WP update but
maybe just a temporary site issue??

One other thing while you’re there.. if you see the folder “Violent Kitty,” the last picture in the “mosaic” is cut off and there’s nothing I seem to be able to do to make that stop.
Any ideas?
