I have noticed that I am having the same issue here with hit and miss delivery of emails. Having checked the admin area for the forms i have noticed that there are 2 enquiry forms this week alone that have not come through but are in the admin area. I have never had to check as all emails have generally come through without any issue prior to the new Quform

As I am a hosting business I run my mail servers and have checked all mail logs. The email has not even hit my mail server. There is definately an issue here.

    Kind regards
    Patrick

    Hi millie
I am a user of a few of these forms and have had them for a few years on a few sites.

If you purchased from Code Canyon /Themeforest do the following to see if it will migrate

Your new licence should be for Version 2.0.1

Do not remove or uninstall V1.x

Back up your database and plugins folder

Install the new V2.0.1 by doing the following

Download the file and unzip it.
Upload the Qform folder via FTP to the plug ins folder of your wordpress install
Go to plugins in the admin section
Activate Qform (Both iphorm and Qform will run side by side this way with all your data saved).

Go to Qform / Settings / Licence and Updates
    Enter your new licence
Then go to Qform / Tools Select Migrate
Qform will import the forms from 1.x
Leave both plugins activated so your old forms work still on V1.x

You can then play around with them in Qform 2.0.1 and try them out with the shortcode for the new Qform

    Hope that helps

    🙂

    Hi Guys
I would like to see a read only field purely for displaying an image. Is this a possibility without using the html to place a shortcode?

    Regards

Shall wait for the V2.0.2 🙂

The hidden fields are hidden if you select General enquiry as the extra info is not required. These only show if you select cake enquiry 🙂

Hi Ally (Additional read to last paragraph)
    Appreciate it
I have tested the WP SMTP mail to both a local account on the same mail server and to a gmail account and both work fine.

I think somwhere along the line the authentication is being asked for which it should not be when a user adds there email address. No auth is required for incoming mail. On checking the mail logs (I run my own servers and mail servers) i see this error

Sorry from is not for local domain or auth user didn't match

That would suggest to me that somewhere in the new form the from address is being set as the to address and the to address being the from address. That being the case authentication would be required.

Just as a point, other servers here running V1.10 still and using the same WP_SMTP_MAIL do not have the issue 🙂

I have just tested the above theory by changing the Form–>Settings..>Notification–>Admin Notification
I changed the to address to the site email address and the reply to as the email element in the form and the from email address as the site email address and it worked fine..
Somewhere along the line this gets mixed up when the form is posted it seems to happen on all the forms.

the from needs correcting to the email element and the to needs to be as it is the site address and the reply to needs to be the email element.

Let me know when you find where it is changing and correct so i can change the forms back (or you have my log in you could change back in case i miss the email if that is ok?

    Hi Ally

Thanks for all your help and time.
Success on this site. A few niggly things that dont happen on migrate but nothing to worry about. Such as form numbers changing. I have a plug in for search and replace on the database which solves all of those issues so no problem on that one. The other small thing was that not all conditional logic is carried over and you have to manually tell each form to enable it. Again no big issue. The final little detail is if you have 3 columns on the old form (where they are hidden until something is selected, the column auto falls inline. On the new form you create 3 columns and all three elements go in the first column to keep inline. Again no great issue.

Onto the next site which is a lot more in depth on the functions but i have got myself a good grip on most of it now so i am not expecting to many issues and most i will probably solve now i have a working knowledge.

Great new style easy to use once you get over the initial shock. Always open to change for the better..

Keep up all the great work

I will be dropping a coffee fund off for you in appreciation of your time, effort and help 🙂

    Regards

    Morning Ally
It was all going great and then

None of the values are being collected from the submitted form. All the settings below for collecting the data from the form work in version 1.10

The first and last lines are the old redirect statements and are remmed out. The only thing i can think of is if there is a different way for the getValue that i do not know about.

    //function mytheme_modify_form_redirect4($url, $form)
    function my_success_redirect_url3($url, Quform_Confirmation $confirmation, Quform_Form $form)

When a form is submitted and saved to the database and you go to the forms and select view submitted form, it does not show any details. You have to select edit form to view the submitted info. With that no links to images work either

    🙂
