Create a new page in WordPress to be the static homepage, if you have already created a page to be the homepage you don’t need to do this. If you want the website to have a page that will show the blog posts, create a new page for this also.
Inside the WordPress admin, go to Settings → Reading, at Front page displays choose A static page (select below). Choose the pages to be your Front page and Posts page.
